SMR Compression Tap Valve 3656R

Please note: The manufacturer has updated this valve design over the years. Although both the old and new valves have 24 splines, the newer valve features thinner splines that are not compatible with the old-style handle.

If you currently have the old valve, the new version will not fit your existing handle. In this case, you’ll need to order a matching new handle to ensure compatibility

You can tell the difference by removing your own Valve and comparing to the picture here.  One obvious difference is the Nut – it is ‘stepped’ on the new version. Some very Old Installation guides refer to the Old Valve as 1301R but even later guides specifying 3656R refer to the older Valve as well.

Used in San Marco Taps such as Tuscany

This is a compression valve i.e twist to turn on / off and the same valve would be used in the hot and cold feed.

We usually dispatch the same day if the order is placed the night before or by 12 noon on a working day. Shipping Costs (P&P):

• Post (not trackable) Free shipping
• Courier (trackable) €6.15 with Fastways

We make no profit from Shipping. For very small items: Screws, O Ring Kits, Aerators & some Bushes, where we can post, we post at no additional charge to the customer. Some Bushes and all Valves / Handles, due to size cannot be posted. Courier costs include VAT and costs of packaging. Current Shipping Times:

• Fastways / Freight Forwarder is usually 1-2 working days but please allow longer if you live in a remote location as some couriers do not cover remote areas daily. It is very important to ensure that your shipping address is correct and always to include your Eircode / Postal code. Couriers look for a mobile phone to aid delivery.
• Post is usually 1-2 working days but it could take longer to be delivered in N.I.

At peak times of the year e.g. Christmas Period, or extreme weather, there could be delays countrywide in deliveries as volumes of goods sent by Post / Courier increase or are delayed by adverse weather conditions. This is outside our control. Reminder to avoid any misunderstandings:
