Frequently Asked Questions:

• What size grub screw is included? We supply a 2mm grub screw for older models, but most of our kits come with both 2mm and 2.5mm grub screws. We recommend keeping your original grub screw as the tap design has changed over the years. If needed, you can purchase a set of allen keys for both sizes, or individual 2mm and 2.5mm allen keys. Note: The Olympus Handle requires a 2mm grub screw.
• How do I replace the O Ring Kit? You can follow our step-by-step DIY Guide for an easy replacement process.
• Why doesn’t my tap spout have two white rings? The smaller white ring was introduced in later models. If your tap is an older version, it may not include this feature, but that’s completely fine and won’t affect performance.
• Is this kit compatible with the Franke Olympus Spring Tap? No, the Olympus Spring Tap requires a different O Ring Kit.

Check for Pinhole Damage Before Ordering O-Rings

Before purchasing a new set of O-rings, it’s important to inspect your tap spout for any pinhole damage.

If your spout has a pinhole (as shown in the example below), replacing just the O-rings won’t fix the problem. In these cases, the entire spout will need to be replaced.

We usually dispatch the same day if the order is placed the night before or by 12 noon on a working day. Shipping Costs (P&P):

• Post (not trackable) Free shipping
• Courier (trackable) €6.15 with DPD

We make no profit from Shipping. For very small items: Screws, O Ring Kits, Aerators & some Bushes, where we can post, we post at no additional charge to the customer. Some Bushes and all Valves / Handles, due to size cannot be posted. Courier costs include VAT and costs of packaging. Current Shipping Times:

• DPD / Freight Forwarder is usually 1-2 working days but please allow longer if you live in a remote location as some couriers do not cover remote areas daily. It is very important to ensure that your shipping address is correct and always to include your Eircode / Postal code. Couriers look for a mobile phone to aid delivery.
• Post is usually 1-2 working days but it could take longer to be delivered in N.I.

At peak times of the year e.g. Christmas Period, or extreme weather, there could be delays countrywide in deliveries as volumes of goods sent by Post / Courier increase or are delayed by adverse weather conditions. This is outside our control. Reminder to avoid any misunderstandings:
