How to remove Antisplasher Aerator

How to remove Antisplasher Aerator from your Kitchen Tap

Aerator: Also known as a Perlator / Antisplash.  Found at the tip of the spout. Most aerators screw onto the end of the spout, creating a non-splashing stream and often mixing water and air, producing the ‘champagne’ effect.

Take an adjustable spanner and cover the antisplasher with a cloth to protect the finish. Turn **anticlockwise** to loosen.

Tip:
If part of an old or broken aerator is stuck inside the spout, try inserting a pin and twisting it anticlockwise to remove any remaining debris.

Some Aerators Come with a Removal Tool
